fount magazine #2 connect / Call for entries round 1:

fount magazine is an independently published magazine about mash-up culture. We examine the convergences of a globalized society and its effect on creative fields. We are now starting the open call for the 2nd issue titled »connect«.
The way we live, work and communicate has fundamentally changed in the last decade. Demographic, economic and social changes are the results. In our second issue we want to explore the possibilities and dangers of our modern lifestyle.
Our category mash-up is a platform for an interdisciplinary artist-exchange. For the 1st round of mash-up we want you to make an artwork for us that deals with the title »connect«.
In the 2nd round this artwork is given to another artist from another creative discipline, who will interpret it in his/her own way. So if you are an artist, graphic designer, photographer, writer, sculptor, fashion designer or creative in any other way we would like to invite you to participate.

​If you want to submit an three-dimensional piece (eg: sculpture, textile, installation) you can by sending a photo or a sketch. If you want to submit a piece of text please send us a .txt file.

Deadline 1st round: 19.2.2017

• a short concept (200—500 characters)
• a weblink (eg: website, instagram)
